My Horse, My way

Workshop overview

My Horse, My Way is a creative, hands-on workshop for children, inspired by the symbolism of the Horse in the Chinese Zodiac.

Through collage, drawing, and gentle movement, children are invited to explore ideas of freedom, individuality, courage, and personal expression. Each child creates their own horse character- there is no right or wrong way- encouraging confidence, imagination, and trust in their own cretive voice.

What children experience

During the workshop, children:

  • Explore shapes, textures, and mixed materials

  • Create a personal horse figure using collage techniques

  • Are encouraged to move, imagine, and tell stories through their artwork

  • Practice decision-making and creative independence in a safe, supportive space
