My name is Carmina, and I am the founder of Colour Outside the Lines.
I am a creative educator and designer, working at the intersection of art, emotional wellbeing, and community. I created this project from a deep belief that children need more than instruction-they need space. Space to explore who they are, how they feel, and how they want to express themselves.
As a parent and a creative practitioner, I have seen how busy, demanding life can be for families. Many parents care deeply but feel tired, stretched, or unsure how to support creativity at home. Colour outside the Lines was created to hold that space-gently and without judgemnt.
My work is rooted in process-led creativity, emotional awareness, and child-led exploration. I believe imagination is a powerful tool for confidence, critical thinking, and emotional balance-and that creative play should remain a protected part of childhood.
Working between the Uk and Romania, I bring together diffrent cultural perspectives, languages, and communities, creating inclusive spaces where children feel seen, capable, and free to create in their own way.
